Default Winter Storage

Hi, I purchased a black 2000 convertible last month. I have not even had a chance to have any fun with my new toy as I had to leave for work. Now winter is here with the first snow last weekend. So, my issue is with the antifreeze. I checked the antifreeze in the boil over pot, and it seemed like it was pure antifreeze. Is there another way to drain some antifreeze without pulling a hose off to check the antifreeze? Is there an air bleed off process I need to follow once I drain some fluid out?

Anything else I should do for winter storage?

Thanks
Ted

Simply draw some antifreeze from the expansion tank located on the inner fender with your antifreeze tester. To winterise, fuel stabilizer in a tank at least 1/2 full, a good battery tender hooked up to your battery or un-hook one battery terminal (neg) park indoors with tires off of concrete using some 3/8 inch plywood pieces. And wait for spring when ever that happens!! Good luck and happy to have you on board the Corvette community, many happy smiles/miles! Greetings, Rob
