Absolutely agree. I got a 2002 coupe with 71k in October and immediately found a great mechanic to properly flush all fluids, clean up and secure all grounds, replace the plugs, and put in a new Interstate battery. All the Delco fluids and plugs from GM (highly recommended that you not use inferior anything) cost around $300, the battery was $120, and the labor was $400. This included properly cleaning out all the debris up inside the front end near the radiator. After that the car ran smooth as silk, the temperature dropped, and the headlights/ dashboard lights stopped flickering at night.

Agreed! No matter how good those original tires look, replace them! Even a set of cheap tires are better and safer than an old rubber compound!
