Drove her for the first time last night. Ill post , ill post my before and after. But this a quick cell phone pic I took
here's are some before and after, different nights, but same location
Before Low beam
Low Beam + 6K fog
Cannons Low beam 5K
As for fitment and aiming, that will depends on the installer. I'm a lil OCD so that took me the longest to do.
I'm satisfied with the fitment, and my hood isn't perfectly aligned since it's been off for my cam swap.
here's some close ups

Those lights look awesome on your car! I think this is the biggest improvement you can make to the front end of a C5. My only reservation is the long term durability of the clear housing. Does anyone know if the housing retains its clarity over time or will it haze or Yellow? It's a big spend for headlights, so I want to be sure they will last before I make a decision to buy.

I'm the third owner of my set and they still look great. No yellowing or issues.
And I agree with him, FourG63 97GST! Those look GREAT on your car.
On a side note, i'm selling my 92 TSi today, getting out of the DSM game for good this time!
Thanks man, I contemplating getting back in, been putting together a 2G GSX for my buddy and I miss it, it's so much cheaper to tinker with them now than in 2006 when I left
I disagree.....I like the look as they are. These are probably the only fixed light system I could live with....no "bugeye" look to them.
What do you mean?? They turned your WHOLE CAR yellow!!
Great Scott you're right! Someone's getting fired over this! lol
And for the painting to match comment above, I think he meant that a gloss black shroud would look better on the gloss black car. And definitely no bug-eye look with these flush lights.
I think they would look better if the shrouds were painted to match the car.
I kinda agree, but I wanted to get them mounted and adjusted first. Getting them painted is the easy part. Granted I didn't buy them for looks per say. I might CF wrap them

On the same side note, I was a senior engineer at DSM and was one of the first 70 people hired there before the plant was even finished being built. I got out in '93.
can you provide some close ups of the fit and finish. I've always been on the fence about some fixed headlights and the fit and finish is usually what has turned me off.

Very cool
I first got into modding cars and making them go faster with DSM's.

I think thats really cool you were a senior engineer at DSM. When I had my first job at an autoparts store there were DSM guys workin' and stoppin' by all the time. One of their Talons was a DD and ran a 10 in the 1/4. Big turbos, major lag but inexpensive for the power.
