Well.....It FINALLY happened!!!

I was sitting in a local restaraunt having breakfast this morning when a gentleman came up to my table and asked if that was my black 'Vette parked out front. I, of course, said that yes, it is. He then introduced himself saying that as soon as he saw my plates, he decided to come in and do so.
Jerry (forum name Jerstoy) and his wife Dianne are super nice people and we had an absolutely wonderful visit!! I think we could have stood there and talked all day long if they'd had the time.
It was really fun and I enjoyed it thoroughly. They were on their way to Denver and had stopped here in Yuma on the way.I have to admit to being just a little embarassed though as it has been a few days since I washed mine and a couple of winged rats had successfully dive-bombed her!!!!! Oh, by the way Jerry, as to my micro fiber towels...yes, there is a bag of them in the left-side cubby under the hatch!!!
I didn't get to tell you at the time.

I thoroughly enjoyed having a chance meeting of another member and feel that we have all three made great new friends!!!!! Is this place great or what!?!?!?!?!?!

I'd say about 1/2 the people I meet have never even heard of the forum.

It always neat to meet people with the same interest, when at car shows it is always neat to meet and talk.
The next time I come through to see family, I'll get ahold of you.
Mike, you are doing a great thing with the kids you teach. They should feel fortunate to have a gentleman like you teaching them.
Good Luck to you!!

You have to be a Frank fan to understand this...lol
