Default JBA long tubes ?

I've searched and searched but haven't found a hole lot of guys running them on c5's let alone c5 zo6's we got a car in and had them on and the tech pulled them off and pretty much I can pick them up for $100! I'm just debating on if I should just wait and buy the hole kooks set up. These will take some exhaust work as someone welded the exhaust right to the header instead of using a vband clamp. I have pics of them but for some reason I can't post them up. Any info will help

Thanks
Cody

I thought JBA only made shorties? If so, shorties don't really gain much over the stock manifolds, so they're basically just for looks and weight savings. In this case, since you would need custom work done, I'd say definitely just hold off for a full longtube system that bolts on.

I've only heard about JBA shorties. If that is what they are, grab them!! If they have a carb# you could turn around and sell them for a prorfit. People in CA will pay $500 easy for a used set of carb legal shorty headers.

BTW, don't waste your time with shorties on your car. Get a nice pair of LT's and don't look back!
