LOL, no I think that's what some under-informed owners call it.
I notice it also has "color coded door handles".............now that's rare.

He'll be sitting on that one for a while at that price. He'd better be prepared for much lower offers.
In fact, if he can get that for his '03, I'd be glad to sell mine for only $30K.

You have to feel some sympathy for the guy, he is obviously a Corvette owner in some sort of isolation. Probably not an active member of a Corvette club, or maybe doesn't even know any other Corvette owner. He is pretty uninformed......"rare Convertible model", and thinks his Corvette is special above others.
But, you never know, maybe an "uniformed" buyer will come along and snap it up for the discounted price of $31,500.

I understand why people price their cars like this. If he is the original owner he paid a bunch of money and only has 17K miles on it. In his mind he is offering the car at a fair value all things considered.
I see private sellers attempt to sell their cars here all the time for full retail value and that is not realistic either. But some of them get it. So who knows

Maybe his wife is on him to sell the car and he really doesn't want to.

Way too high in price, but some of the reason mentioned may explain it. You never know what the dealer said to sucker him into buying it. Probably told him how rare it is with the color, door handles, convertible, etc.

...well it does have the much sought after "casette, CD changer combo"!
If I was the owner, I'd postpone the sale, go out and take it on a cross-country drive to enjoy it and put some miles on it, and then sell it next year at a reasonble price.
