Side Mesh Screens - American Car Craft
Anyone install these screens? They are "polished laser mesh SS" and per the instructions on their website they install by double-sided tape and come pre-formed.
My cousin (who also owns a C5) saw my Racemesh screens and really liked them, however I told him that the install is a PITA due to the silicone adhesive. I'm thinking about buying these as a Christmas gift, however I've never seen them in person to confirm the quality.
Thanks!

Hoping for some input. I know I've seen a few C5s on the forum with these screens. You can install them with or without the chrome trim. I'm hoping they're good quality as they come pre-formed with double sided tape for easy installation. My cousin has a worn-out back and if I get him a set of Racemesh, he will ask me to help install and I really don't want to go through that process again! (Picture below)
Thanks!
Thanks!

The rubber bands on yours kind of detract from the overall looks of the screens.

Sorry, I have the screens from the Vette Shop on mine so no help with the American Car Craft ones. The ones from the Vette Shop come pre-formed and just install with double sided tape. They have held up very well on my car (been on there for about 3 years now). But the ones you show in the pic look pretty good.

Yes, I have the American Car Craft screens installed on my 02. Install wasn't too hard at all, you just crank the front wheels to the side to take the panel loose to install the screen. I actually have pictures (no rubber bands needed ) of the install and will upload them if you really want me to

Quality of the SS is 100% perfect.
The preformed fit was 100% perfect.
You must clean the inside area where the tabs with the tape goes. First with soap and water, then with the supplied alcohol pads.
Mine have been on for 2 years now, no problems and look like new
