Insulation - VettNuts vs Exotic Vette
I've got the interior out of my car this winter to rebuild the OEM sport seats and complete a meticulous detail and cleaning. I also plan on adding an insulation kit.
My car is heavily modded, which creates a ton of heat in the cabin. The black/black combo doesn't help things either, especially when the top is out.
So, I've found two vendors that sell insulation kits from $155 to $350.
Has anyone done a side-by-side comparison? That's quite a spread in price, percentage wise. I've read a couple dozen threads, but no one has really done an objective comparison.
I'll be addressing the underside of the car as well, but have found better info for materials for the tunnel and exhaust.

We install Vettenuts kits in our customers cars and offer them in packages. I suggest both the foil and premium layer too.
Have not worked with any other kit to give you info.

We sell both the Foil kit and Premium Kit. We just did one for a customer and he did a product review located here: VetteNuts Premium insulation Kit
Both kits work well however we recommend using the Premium kit. While you have the car apart you might as well do all you can to insulate it.
I have a 02 with a 408 stroker, no cats and my car stays cool along he tunnel plate and is much quieter. The complete kit weighs in at 11lbs.
