Default C5 shop manual

What is the best option for a shop/service manual for the C5?
Thanks

I like to use the online electronic version of the service manual.

http://www.alldatadiy.com/ offers a subscription service to access it, its the same data that service techs at dealerships use, and also give you access to the factory service bulletins, and how much labor certain job is worth (i.e. .4 hours to replace front brake pads).

Plus, I prefer searching through an electronic reference then thumbing through a big bulky book with grimy hands. But that's just me.

If you prefer the physical manuals, they pop up on the for sale forum pretty often for good prices.

The paper ones will run over $150 on e-bay (depending on condition). They do show up on here once in a blue moon. The cds for sale on e-bay are not all that good, but what can you expect for under $25.

Great!
I appreciate the help. I'm old school, so I'll keep my eyes open on epay for manuals. I've got the factory manuals on my GM trucks but didn't know if there was a aftermarket product that was better.

Thanks again!

Get the Helms manualsm - they are the factory ones and are very good. I bought mine from a forum member and they were like new - cost was around $120. Like was mentioned, you can find them for sale every now and then in the C5 Parts for Sale section, or if you just want a new set, contact someone like Gene at gmpartshouse.com.
