Oil & fuel Voodoo !
All of these snake oil additives have very convincing advertising, but in the end it really doesn't do a thing. If you use a top teir gasoling, and thrown in a bottle of Chevron Techtron or Pro-gard "Fuel injector Cleaner" every five fill-up's your going to be very well protected.
I'm not knocking Z-Max but what does it really do that Chevron Techron doesn't ?

Have never heard of the Zmax poduct - I do use the Techron and have been pleased with it.

I'm sure there are many additives out there... But I have used Seafoam in the Corvette and other vehicles as well. 2 weeks ago I had a gas issue in the Tahoe and Seafoam cleared it ip in 1/2 of a tank. I also use it in my Merc Cruiser I/O. Always performed well...

Zmax is good stuff. We used to use it in the Northstar engines to free up the stuck rings in engines that consumed oil from be driven with poor quality fuels or lugged around town by ederly drivers.
