rear window glass question??
1. is the 99-00 FRC rear window the same as the 01-04 Z06 and if not will it fit the Z06?
2. are they still available and if so where from and how much?
3. if not available how much does a used one go for?

The Z06 is a 99/00 FRC body with a better cam($100) and heads($400), LS6 intake also, but that's standard on ALL 2001up C5's, the suspension is within 10-15% of the Z specs.
In reality the FRC/Z06 is the convertible with the hardtop in place.
ALL C5 fenders/doors/hoods/front.rear covers are the SAME.
ALL C5 vert/FRC/Z06 rear quarters and trunk lids are the SAME.
Yes, the Z16 has a carbon hood(2004)

A good used one would save you a bundle, unless it's an insurance claim and they'll pay for new.

From everything I have read the Z06 also has a thinner rear glass as well. I have never had them on a scale to compare personally, but have seen this is several places.
They are the same otherwise and either rear glass should fit in either car.
