Farewell
Well, the time has come to say goodbye for now my friends. Traded in the C5 Coupe this week for a 2006 Z06 with 39K on the clock. Loved the C5 but this thing is an absolute beast.
Wanted to thank all of you for the help and support through my C5 adventure. I had a blast modding the Coupe over the last 2 years and perhaps my only regret in leaving C5 land is that the C6 doesn't need a lot.
Well, for now anyway.

Enjoy your new C6Z. It looks great!

Everyone is complaining about the cold here right now, because it's like 50 and it is getting down ALMOST to freezing at night. As a Chicago native, I do get tickled by this.
Thanks everyone!!

Nice trade,
I should have my C6 Z06 this Monday or Tuesday, depending on weather and the shipper. I opted to keep my 04 though.

Can't say I blame you for the upgrade - I hope to have a C6 Z06 some day. Congrats and enjoy the new car.

Very nice, I have always said if a C6Z was in the budget the C5 would be gone.

Great buy, at least your staying within the family... And not to worry, you are still a member of this forum but only on the C6 side and there is a bunch of great people over there as well. One day I will be getting another Vette, most likely a C6 Grand Sport and joining you on the C6 side... Funny thing is I don't think I'm gonna sell my C5, I love the body shape way to much... See ya and enjoy your new ride looks great...

Great looking car; good luck. All Corvettes are wonderful cars, in their own way, I believe.
In a few years, a Silver Z06 C6 might be in my future. But first; I've got 70 to 80 thousand miles to add to my C5's clock....
