When i put my car in reverse it loses battery voltage and will die unless i push the brake and stop completely. Also when i turn the ac it wants to die also. Do i need a more powerful alternator or something? Does my cam have anything to do with it?
I would start with checking the battery connections and the grounds, also the connections at the alternator. Also check the main connection at the underwood relay fuse center.
I get the feeling you are confusing a cause and effect....
Your voltage will drop when your RPM drops. How far is it dropping? The things you are describing suggest your car is simply struggling to idle when loaded.
What cam do you have and who tuned it? Did this just recently appear or has it been like this since the cam install?

A litttle more info would be helpful.
Auto? Stick? New problem?
Dying with AC on would be tune related since you have a large cam.
