Rear squeaking noise that's driving me up the nuts, just getting in and out of the car it squeaks, after couple of shops looking at this, both of them scratching their head, then spending hundreds of dollars of replacing upper arm control and gotten no where fast, is it the shocks, the end link? other bushings? Please advice!
Just had the same problem. New Poly bushings for the rear sway-bars, took them down, re-greased them, and so far all is good. If you have metal end links on your sway bars that shouldn't be the problem, seems like lots of guys have the problem with greasing the bushings on the sway bars. Check that out....

I went crazy tracking this type of noise down and it took me putting the car on the lift 5 times to find it. I found mine when I loosened the lower shock mounts, releasing the compression of the bushing...instantly gone! I then loosened the lower shock more, used a pry bar to push the lower mount sideways and lubricated the bushing face, the moved it the other way and did that side...not a noise since.
With mine it just came out of nowhere one day. Check the lower shock bushings!!!

I'm not having a problem with the sqeaking noise now, and I know they say, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it," but my shocks have been on for probably 50k miles now, so, since it's raining so damn much here, tomorrow too, I think I'll do what you suggested to the lower shock bushings tomorrow . That will give me something to do!!
