Just got back...cleaner her up...spent half the time I was driving in some sideways attitude. Ground is wet from runoff, ground is cold so my tires don't get any heat in them, add in 630+hp and it was a day of throttle modulation....damn fun though!

She's all shiny again and happy

and in a cruel twist of fates, it's a balmy 29 degrees here in Scottsdale this morning . . . the cars at the Barrett Jackson will all have frost on them for the next couple of days.

So much for global warming . . . .

Two days of 50+ temps here in Chicago with no salt on the roads after Thursday's rain, so I took her out yesterday (Saturday) for some exercise. Got home in time to escape the freezing drizzle that started late afternoon and we have snow and ice this morning. This may be her last trip out for a while.

The temp isnt the issue, its when temps stay low for weeks and there is 1 ft of snow in my parking lot that wont melt.

Default Pittsburgh

Born and raised there. Moved away in 1979. Couldn't take another winter and that damn freezing rain. Also don't get me started on the PA state auto inspection requirements. I hated it.

For the most part in CA they treat you like adults when it comes to your car. I don't like being told when I half to change brakes and tires and what body work to do and when.
I am responsible enough and don;'t need any of that.

Todd

From the North Hills area and took it out on Sunday. Also fixed my C1214 code in the same day.

Sunday was full of success. Now back to 20-30 degree weather

Sorry guys, but 82 here today in central Florida, moved from upstate NY 12 yrs ago and don't the snow or the cold gray days. Drive the vett every day to work, but at least you don't rack up the miles that we do here in the Sun shine state, I guess that's a plus....not.

Okay let the flaming begin.....

Tom
