Hello all, I don't post here too often but I wanted to share my experience with the LG short shifter. It seems to be a relatively uncommon choice for some reason and I have no idea why. Maybe it's because it's one of the least expensive. Why did I buy it? I chose this shifter because its the best deal. It comes with a new **** as well, all for around $200. Below are some install pics, I tried to make it look as OEM as I could. If anyone has any questions about the shifter, I will be glad to answer.

I cut the hard plastic off the bottom of this rubber insulator to help fit and finish.
Notice how the boot will not fit around the new ****. My solution is below.
The shifts are significantly shorter than stock. It took me a while to get used to how short it was. It has centering springs to help with the 2-3 shift. Because of the springs and the new motion ratio it is way harder to move the shifter laterally. I've gotten used to this, but some might not like it. You can easily change out the springs. The shifts are real precise and I can shift the car a good bit faster. However, it can be noisy at times, especially Under hard acceleration. I assume it is the centering springs. I'm very happy with it! I really dont know why more prople dont have it. And thanks for the compliments!

when I went to install mine, the length of the shaft below the mounting plate is too long, and contacts the lower box when trying to put it into first, did you have this problem?
