Default 2002 Canadian Speedomiter

Was looking at a 2002 Corvette and the car origionally came from Canada. Does anyone know what it would cost to change dash speedomiter back to MPH and what else would be different. Thanks

There is a button on the dash that will switch it. Look in the owners manual. Good luck.

I think he wants the cluster changed from the Canadian marks to the American marks - 300 to 200 I believe. My car is from the States but I'd rather have the Canadian 300 speedo.
I've seen them for sale for $200 before.

Thanks. I know there is a button to convert the miliage but I think the face plate is different and not sure if that can be changed

You are correct. Did not know if you could just buy faceplate and it would be correct for the states.

Just get a set of white faceplates off any of the many Forum vendors. Should run about $100. Not hard to install, but will probably take at least one weekend.

I have an 01 C5Z that was exported to Canada originally... Along with the 300 speedo mine sports a block heater, HL automatically come up when it gets dark...

Love the speedo, have never plugged in the block heater, pulled the relay on the lights... I wouldn't change a thing! Except perhaps custom paint, Silver bezel rings...

Keep the 300 Speedo - great conversation piece. I was at a car show a couple of years ago and two teenagers were looking at my car. One said to his buddy," Holy %#&$, this thing can go 300 MPH." They were both most impressed. Needless to say I didn't enlighten them.

Pretty cool feature and one which should generate some comments.
