70K refit........
The car went into the shop last week for its 70K service. All the standard work as well as a number of things that had surfaced and needed attention.
The right rear tire had developed a slow leak and when topped off on Monday was showing 21 psi by Friday. The shop found the magnesium wheel cracked and leaking. Dealer wanted $1200 for a new wheel but we found a good used one for $300 after a bit of shopping. Fixed the leak.
The left hand window regulator was getting tired so we installed a new one.
The final upgrade was to install 2012 C6 Z06 shocks and sway bars.
The car is now ready for another 70K. Everything now works perfect. The car handles much better than before. I am happy.
