Active handling works!
Even at low speeds it appears. While on a winding, occasionally frosty road I was picking my way carefully to get to the hiway. I came up on a slightly banked corner a little fast, maybe 20 MPH (like I said, it was SLICK in the shady places). I kept a steady throttle after I got it slowed as much as I could and felt 3 lurches while going through the corner. Only after I made it through did I stop to think that it wasn't dry spots but the car tapping the brakes on the left side. White knuckles 
time, I might have at least slid sideways in a lesser car. This with summer tires too, but I've been careful to not get frisky when it's cold.

Yes, active handling works very well. I've had it keep my cars under control a few times when the roads were slick.
