Sold it. Thank you to all who gave me advice.

Sold it to a nice guy. Loves Vettes. Told me has owned 4. Seems like my baby is going to a nice home.

I told him about this forum and he said that goes on it. Don't know his screen name.

I'll still be lurking with a tear in my eye enjoying your Corvette moments.

I just didn't get a chance to enjoy it with 2 little girls. Hopefully the new owner will.

Like Arnold said, "I'LL BE BACK!"

Seriously thinking about the Mercedes E350. Was going for the CTSv. Took the Benz for a test drive and fell in love.

With 2 little ones, 4 and 2 year old, it'll be awhile before I get another Corvette. I will get another one, I promise, and It'll be in your slideshow.

My plan is to have my C5 paid off by the time I have kids so that I'll have an excuse to never sell it! Unless, of course, the sale is to fund a downpayment on a C7

It would be a tough choice for me. Get rid of the Vette or the Kids...

I got rid of the kids and bought a vette. Well, not really. They just grew up and are adults now. Any hints how I can get them out of the house?

Change the locks??

Timeline:

1) Vette comes
2) Family comes
3) Vette goes
4) Family goes (eventually)
5) Vette's back

Vicious unbreakable cycle! ;-)

Now, as for keeping it even if it's paid for when #2 happens: YOU FUNNY! Think: Insurance and maintenance vs wife and kids. Lol - yeah, you're obviously young and not "conditioned" yet...

Congrats on the sale - I know it had to be a tough decision but you've go to do what is right for your family. Great that you plan to stick around and hope its not too long before you get back into a Vette.
