CO '04 Cobra or Speedway White '01 Z06?

Op you should have put more info about co cobra's in your post. You should know most of these guys will just focus on the mustang part and not care or even try to see what it is. C5z's new sold for lower 50's and can be had for 20ish now. Cobra sold for mid 30's and also sell in the 20's. So far the cobra is holding its value better.

To be fair, it's electronically limited at 150ish. Realistically if you're going to be doing those speeds often/ever you're probably not the type to keep it 100% stock with the limiter on.

Depends on what You want to use the car for.
The Terminator can beat the Vette in a drag race by doing a cheap pulley swap, but it is still basically a ford fairmont chassis and handles terribly.
The Vette will be about as fast as the Terminator if both are stock, but the Vette will out handle the Terminator anywhere, anytime.
I was the "first one on the block" to own a new 03 Terminator, and I was king of My street back then, but when I took it out on a road race track, I realized that I was not the king anymore.

25k, if you had to get a c5, 25k is enough to buy a mint 10k mile 2004 z06 that has so many coats of wax on it you can see your reflection in the dark.
should have a low mile c6 option on this poll as well. you can get really clean low mile c6's for 25 now a days
i voted z06 just because it's a better platform

Stock take the vette, if you plan on modding get the cobra. I had an 04 Keene bell cobra and now have a cam c5. Can't beat the sound of that blower whine. Anyone who says it's just a mustang has clearly never owned one

I agree I have a 2001 cobra , but there is no way in hell that if it came down to it I would chose it over my Z , now with all this being said the Cobra was the first sports car that I ever owned and I now have to much money in it just like the Vette . I also feel like the mustangs are more of a teenager or someone in their twenty s car and the Vette isn't and yes to all of you I don't know why the Cobra holds its value better than the C5
a 2001 integra type r can be worth as much as $20,000 and only sold for $24,000 new. even the average price for an 80k mile car is 10-12k
very limited production car that was the top of its class
MKIV supra is the same way. mint low mileage ones sell for nearly new prices even though it's a 15yr old car

were those cobras limited production? limited production is always a big boon to value. look at commuter cars. 2001 integra is worth between 2000 and 5000 depending on mileage and condition.

And it's not worth anything even under 75,000 miles on it but let's not get me started on that little beast ...

The best would be both.
For holding value, the Cobra seems to be wining that race, at least for now. Think fox body mustang. As they become harder and harder to find perfect, the value will stick.
