I'm probably taking a long-shot here, but the other day (about a week or two ago ~8 PM) I was driving on Northbound Hwy 280 approaching Hwy 92 in the SF Bay Area of California and was passed by a black/black C5 convertible with some very nice looking LED tail lights.
Most of the kits I've seen I haven't been a fan of because they just don't look factory and you can see the individual LED strips. I was wondering if anyone had an idea who that might be, or if it's your car, what brand of LED tail lights you have.

Here's what mine looks like - sorry no shots of them in the dark. Got them from Randy at HRW Motorsports (a forum vendor and forum member blacksedan87). They are awesome in terms of looks and brightness.

Thanks in advance!![/QUOTE]
I agree with you, I've been looking at some offered by a couple forum vendors, but it's hard to tell from the pics. I wish they went all the way around the light like the C6's and most cars that have them, but they can't because of the screws. I really like the look of matthewlfd that he posted.
I want to add in that the lights I saw the other night were NOT a halo style tail light. The way that "matthewlfd's" lights look is ok to me, though I'd like to see what it looks like with the brake lights illuminated as well.
I want something with a smooth/consistent look to the light being put out. As in not clearly defined strips of light inside the lens. Or if there were a TON of LEDs packed in there so you couldn't tell where one started and one ended.
Thanks for all the pictures guys!! I wonder if part of my dilemma is based just on how the LEDs turn out in photographs. I may need to see some in person to decide if I'm a fan or not...
(Yes, I know I'm being pretty overly-analytical about a relatively simple and minor mod.)
If you are looking for smooth/consistant, you might be better off putting LED bulbs in your stock housing. LEDs tend to be smaller more focused points of light unless they are diffused by a plastic housing or through frosted plastic rods.
On my vette, with the brake lights illuminated, it looks just like the first picture dblerman posted except with much brigher LEDs.
Here are the factory LED tail lights on my daily driver...this might be as close to the smooth/consistant style as you get with aftermarket LED Corvette tails.

They're nearly impossible to photograph, much brighter in person. I was in the same position until I was behind a vette with halo LEDs on my way to work one night and pulled the trigger on a set minutes later from my work computer.
Another cool thing about the Halo LEDs (modified or non-modified) is that they are specific to the C5. A few of my friends who own C6 Corvettes saw mine and wanted sets for their C6 Corvettes, but from what I understand, they are a C5 product only!

radio flyer halo modded tail lights..best rear end mod i have done so far..and i love it..esp when i apply my brake pedal at a light and the people behind me have to cover there face due to how bright my rear end..lol
