I've never washed my car in the 12 years that I've owned it, but it does have a lot of wax on it. It's also never been driven it in the rain since I've owned it.

It won't melt in the rain, you know. And just wondering what that has to do with the OP's question?

I would suggest that DevilDog II is referring to my comment about an air brushed emblem making it easier to wash/wax that area of the car. Not much deviation from the topic. At least that's how I read it.

If I had a dollar for every time I've heard that comment I could afford a new C7.
