Anyone know if somebody makes a dash cap or cover for C5 Vettes ? I have a Torch red on red 2002 and would like to cover the top of the dash Torch Red also( yes I like red ).. Googled it and made a couple calls but nothing out there. Any leads ?
Not gonna happen, sorry. You either have to remove it and get recovered by an upholstery shop ($$$$$) or remove it and SEM color coat it like I did. It can be done cause that's the way some very high end custom shops do theirs in $100,000 cars. I know since I've crawled around a few to check out their custom interiors. The utmost best chocie would be Torch Red Italian nappa leather (upholstery grade) which would run very expensive and then find a Master leather upholster who will cover it right (without botching it up).
If you're looking for a dash cover to guard against UV rays, etc., most vendors sell them in black twill/carpet-like material. You can purchase one of those and have it professional dyed at an interior home decor shop that specialized in custom carpeting, rugs, etc.
You would probably end up spending as much as the mat itself cost, however it's an option.

Me,....just use SEM and it'll be perfect!
Just not up to spped on it nor the process. Your car is awesome . Here in SC windshields are free, if damaged. No deductible. One of the few good things here .
