Urgent Help- Window Regulator
I'm about to order a window regulator thru GM however, I'm not sure this is what I need. I've checked the cables and they appear good, the motor appears to operate properly up and down but there is a lot of grinding sound coming from the unit attached to the motor. I'm assuming that is the regulator. Should I order this unit only or an entire window, motor, regulator assembly?

I just did this on mine, order the whole assembly. There is a video on youtube on how to remove it. Took about 30 mins to replace and then 20 min or so to adjust. The little blue spring tensioner breaks at the top of the spring causing different tension resulting in the grinding noise, this can not be seen while it is in the door. Good luck
