Default Torque Thrust on a C5

I'm sure this has been covered many times before but I couldn't find anything. I've always been a fan of Torque Thrust wheels in American cars but I haven't seen any on a c5. Are any if you riding on them or have photos of a c5 with them? Thanks

I had American Racing Torq Thrust II wheels on my car when I bought it, but I couldn't stand the look. I didn't think these wheels flowed well with the overall body of the C5... In my opinion, they look good on older muscle cars, not on a sleek sports car...The first thing I did to the car was swap the wheels back to stock Z06 wheels.

17x9.5" up front and 18x10" in the rear:

I can't really say why, but for me those wheels just don't work on a C5. I like 'em on all sorts of other cars.

Just out of sheer curiosity, do you have anymore pictures of the car with those wheels on it? Like a side profile?

I completely agree. They look better on stangs and f-body camaros/firebirds...even C3 vettes...

I don't have too many pics of them since they were on the car for such a short period of time

Here's 2 more:

I like the torque thrusts on your car. Just needs lowering.

They look good on a mid-year, or C1.

C5, not so much!

Yea, they actually look somewhat acceptable on your car. Probably the fact that the car is black and the rims aren't chromed. But I do agree that they go more with the "muscle car" look of F-Bodys that run a tire with a really meaty sidewall.

The trouble with the wheel is that they are not wide enough.

I'd have to go with the majority here - those wheels just don't look all that great on a C5.
