Popped the hood to clean the engine and this isn't connected. I'm a newb so bare with me! Thanks

Looks like an aftermarket remote clutch bleeder.

I don't have a manual tranny, but I'm going to guess that it's a remote clutch bleeder?? and you can put it back where you found it.

Clutch bleeder , someone knows what a pain in the *** it is if you don't have one installed ..

Thanks man! People are surprised to see me a guy fully tattooed from the head down, get out of this car. They're expecting someone completely different. My wife finds its funny, since we're complete opposite looking. Criminal vs librarian. Lol

Yeah I get that a lot to , elbows up for me , I've even got a C5 logo hidden in one tat... Now that's loving my car ...

Learning new stuff is great. Now James, tell me why I have a fast tick. Someone said its probably the aftermarket cam. Sounds sewing machine-ish. Gets louder and faster with the rpms.

You should here my car it sounds like an over grown sewing machine until you get behind her .....

the ticking sewing machine noise is normal if it a consistent tick, headers also increase the "ticking" sound because the the headers doesn't insulate as much.
and before you ask, when you shut it off the car with the clutch pedal out, it would make a rattle, thats normal too. have fun
