Seat cushion swap?
I tried in the Tech section but seems to be very little traffic there, so I will post here.
Can the drivers side seat cushion on a C5 be swaped with the passenger side? My drivers side is getting worn and the passanger side is almost perfect. Would like to balance the wear.
I remember that the C4 seat cushion would just snap out. Can you do that with a C5?

Yes and no.
They can be swapped, but they do not have the cutputs in the same place or sde...
I suggest you go to parts section and seek out a cushion for the drivers side in your color..

Yes you can. That's exactly what I did. All you need to do is make a new cutout for the seat controls and then take the foam piece you just cut and transfer it to the other side to fill in the old cutout. Apart from that, they are exactly the same. I also swapped the seat back cushions which are exactly the same and do not need any modifications. Everything worked out perfectly.
