Back in my Porsche days I had a 16 lb cat that use to sleep on the targa roof. It completely ruined the roof and I finally sold the car.

leave it to a cat to find the highest point in a room to sleep on. mine is exactly the same way. either look up or look for something warm, sure enough you will see mr rufus

Your car, but if it were mine, that cat would be finding another place to sleep. Just would not want to take the chance of any scratches on the paint from it getting up on the top.

I got claw marks all over the hood of my vette from my a#*hole cat! Can't leave the garage door open for 2 minutes or he finds his way onto my cars.

I put TWO covers on my car in the garage for this very reason.
I like my cats more than I dislike them walking on the car.
Gophers, mice and rats would live here if it wasn't for the cats.

Now, don't get me wrong, I love animals and just recently lost our cat due to her
hips going at 19 years old but NFW she'da even THOUGHT about getting on my cars.

I won't take my nice cars to my in-laws because of the scratches. I took an '96 Impala SS to their farm and overnight the cats found it. I had paw prints all over, and where they slid there were claw marks that scratched the paint. There were a lot of scratches .

I knew better than to take the Corvettes because of the gravel roads and the dogs, etc. but I thought the Impala would be OK.

Since then, we bought a "winter beater" that is the only thing we will drive to the farm.
