I read the issues on this forum about ground problems with the C5 wiring. The other day, I was in the part stores and I saw a can of spray used on the battery terminals to prevent corrosion. Has anyone tried this on the ground point connections?
When I cleaned my ground connections a couple of years ago, I sprayed the frame stud/nut with some battery terminal protectant. Seems to have held up just fine.
Battery cleaners like you describe are fine to use on the ground connections to clean the area if you have corrosion. They are intended to help neutralize acid and remove corrosion deposits. Just clean the area afterwards to remove the cleaner.

Do you ir anyone else have a diagram showing the locations of all the Grounding points?
