Not sure if this will help, but I got mine welded by an aircraft welder and he did not ask about the type of titanium. All he said was that the titanium sticks are extremely expensive and that is why it cost so much. He did a great job and the result was worth it.

I've got Z06 TI's on my Coupe, but I'm wondering, what are you trying to do to them?

the Ti catback is excellent, did testing on other cat backs on my 02Z and the oem Ti was better than most if not all when dyno'd

Im just wanting something louder is all. I was trying to do the by pass mod. Take a piece of titanium and connect the over the axle pipe to the inside tip. "Bypassing" the muffler to make it louder

Ok, I understand. Thing is, some guys on here have done the by-pass with TI's and there were posts about it, but it was a while back that I saw them. Check out post #6 on this thread, maybe you can contact this guy, Kevin Doe, and get your answer....

The performance shop that done all my mods gave me a decent credit for my z06 stock titanium exhaust , you may wanna go that route

I would think you could get a decent buck for a set of titanium catbacks that were unmolested. I would buy a different catback just for sound reasons and if your happy with them, just sell the titanium ones.
