I'll try your suggestion. I have it up-to-date, but it seems this app doesn't get much attention from the developers (current Android version is 1.3.18 released on 05/03/13)...

Clearing my stored credentials did the trick!

I use this app for the convenience it provides, but it could be a much better experience if the developers listened to their users' feedback. More than a year without addressing reported issues sounds like an abandoned platform...

Why can't you post pics from your iPhone? I do it all the time. A photo serving website is no longer needed. Save the picture to your Photo Roll,
Then select manage attachments when composing your post (see below).
Simple and works great.

If it keeps happening like it did for me, go to Settings>Forum Reading Options and turn off 'Refresh Login'.

It was either that setting or ios8 that fixed all my problems with this app- including the duplicate post and PM stupidity. I used to have to clear my credentials or reinstall the app almost every day or two but not anymore.
