Default Need to remove the panel below steering column

I inadvertently disconnected the connector to the steering column lock while removing the plastic panel that the footwell light is mounted on the drivers side. There is not much slack in the cable harness and I'm not able to get my fat fingers of both hands in there to easy snap the connectors together. It looks like if I remove that lower dash panel right below the steering column the task will be easier. Its too dark out and cold in the garage now to mess with, but it looks like just two screws hold that panel in place. Does anyone know if that all that is involved.

Remove the two screws under the steering wheel.

Pull out the hatch button assembly left of the steering wheel, unplug the harness and remove the screw inside.

Pull out the vent to the left of the ignition and remove the screw in there.

Remove the panel.

Thanks Munch, fixed it in a few minutes this morning. Remembered after going through the instructions I did this a million years ago when putting in the column lock harness. Only snafus I caused putting in the 13 light LED upgrade 8 exterior lights and 5 interior lights, not bad.
