I have chrome C6 Z06 Deep Dish Wheels on a Mag Red Vert with lots of black accenting throughout the vehicle. Thinking about accenting the wheels with black center caps and/or lug nuts...thoughts or better yet PICS?
Like many of the parts I've bought over the years it's amazing how so many bolt-on type of mods still require alterations (ie. sanding, trimming, etc). Something as simple as gloss black center caps from two respected vendors require such alterations. I get so much crap from my wife on how everything has to be difficult (another words not as bolt on as advertised).

OK, here's my thoughts. I personally would keep the wheel area all chrome, but if you wanted to change things up a bit, go wih the black luck nuts but leave the center caps chrome. Again, JMO.
Yes he did, I was soliciting for more inputs, thanks for your opinion as well.
With pinstriping on colored wheels (which I like very much) and the incredible looking concave wheels, just trying to think of ways to tastefully change up the "all chrome" look of my current wheels. Would get some concave wheels if I weren't thinking about a 2nd Vet (C7 or GS or 427). Don't want to drop any significant cash on the C5 until I make up my mind.
I believe I have the same wheels. I'm Torch Red and also have various black accents, but not the ones you are contemplating.
Maybe try black electric tape to simulate the black lug nut look? Cut out little circles, apply them on the lug nuts, then take before and after pics at 5, 10, and 15 feet. Close enough to help you decide... Maybe...
