new member need help

I am trying to buy a 2002 z06 with low miles it is in great shape and the price is right when I did a carfax the 2nd owner reports an accident/damage but how do I know the amount of damage to the car it's self.The car is awesome clean everything I want but the carfax bothers me.

would it stop you from buying ? FYI selling for a great price

If the price is right and the repair was done so you couldn't even tell it was in an accident then the carfax wouldn't bother me at all.

Have a body man check out the car for damage if at all possible.

Bringing two mechanic with me to look at it car is more then 6 hrs from me dont want to be going back and forth with that distance

Thats the funny thing about carfax it could just be reported damage not an accident at all but I dont want it to come back and haunt me if I want to sell or trade in someday I am buying it as a toy not a daily drive so I want it to maintain value
