New shift **** install on A4
Installed my new 4inch hardbar shift **** from Product Innovations LLC. Ron the owner machined out the inside so the shift adapter was basically swallowed inside the ****. It is hard to tell because this is so tall but it is about 3/4 inch lower than the standard ****. Rob makes a quality product. His service and craftsmanship are exceptional.
I don't know how many posts must be made before I can upload a pic with a thread so I created a ALBUM with the name My Spiral Gray 2003 Targa, a pic is there.

Thanks very much for doing that. Yes you simply push down and shift.
I have talked to Ron at Product Innovations about how many members want a shorter adapter. He is in the process of making his own adapters.
If you want a ball shifter most of the current adapters are too long. If you contact him on his website let him know your interest in a shorter adapter. (Product Innovations LLC)
