I see a lot of C5 to C6 conversion headlights for sale from $200-$400 all over the net. I am not a big fan of the flip up headlights so I would like to convert mine to the C6 style. Has anyopne done this recently? The kits all say they do not come with instructions but people make it sound easy to do. Is it difficult to install them yourself? Are any permanent modifications necessary or can they be switched back easily? Thanks for the help

I have never seen a C5 to C6 headlight conversion, Maybe you are talking about the Depo frog lights? The ones that mount where the stock lights are and don't go up or down.
This is what I mean. C6 style. I think when the C6 first came out people paid a lot for a real conversion but that is not what I am looking for. I guess they look like frog lights
The set in the 2nd link you posted can be had pretty inexpensive, the set in the first link are made by Radioflyer he is a forum vendor here, they will come with everything you need to do the install, do a search for him and you will see all you want to know
It's not too difficult though to swap them out.
The Stealth Light Cannons are the pinnacle of corvette lighting. They are a little expensive, but for good reason. Fixed headlight systems are notoriously difficult to aim and align. The SLC V2 projectors have independent locking adjusters separate from the shroud and lens to allow for a perfect fit.
Radioflyer headlights are the only system that features Bi-xenon projector optics for superior light distribution. Each kit comes with a 55w HID kit and the Radioflyer exclusive Hi-4 harness that keeps the low beams on with the high beams.
Love the C5 corvette, and C6's are nice but I dont base entire car purchases off of headlights.. If I did that it would be kind of like not buying one because it has chrome rims
Maybe I should save up for the good ones. I like the radio flyer ones. Anyone have any expirience with the cheap ones? Im sure you get what you pay for but I am curious since they all specifically state that they do not come with instructions. I have also come across a few add of people selling them because they "never got around to putting them on"
