Actually, I did snowmobile from about 1977 through 1991. I raced some professionally for a few years, and did high altitude testing for Ski-Doo in Wyoming and Montana back in the 80's. Once raced Al Unser Jr. on ESPN, and beat him. That was a hoot!
But, a back injury ended my snowmobile racing/riding. And I never much liked just passive trail riding. In deep powder snow, in the back country of Wyoming over 9000 feet elevation is where the fun is in that sport. Did it many many times. Lots of great fun, for lots of years.
Now, I wait for better roads, for my C5 (and golf).
