Default Mileage check in........

I have gotten a few emails wanting to check on my mileage, rolling over 465,000+ right now since I last looked when at state inspection. No real news far as engine issues, but back to transmission issues. Servo did some damage to the transmission case, so now in need of trans case or finding a used trans. Oh well, why should I complain.

Thanks for the update !

Anything special planned for when you reach the half million mile mark soon ?

One would think the automotive media world would be interested in a C5 hitting 500,000 miles

GM should give you one of the first C7s as a future backup car, you are an ongoing testiment to the durability of the C5, much more luck to you in the miles ahead !

"Thank you sir for sharing that encouraging news. I had always hoped my car would be around for a while. Having just had my automatic transmission rebuilt by AMCO, I feel more confident about reaching 465, 000 someday. Gotta love a Sharp Corvette!"

Incredible - 465K miles. At my current rate, it will take me until I'm 100 to reach that point, if even then. Congrats on getting out and driving your car.

At my 02's mileage rate, I'll need to drive her another 220 years to get up to 465,000 miles.

Makes me feel silly for wanting to limit my mileage.
