Default Tire Size???

Well I have a 01 Z06 and I'm needing to get tires . Was wondering what size u guyz were going with? Since ill be getting my tax money back soon! Right now I am running 265/40/17 in the front and 295/35/18 on the back !! I'd love ur feed back thanks

If you have the stock rims, then stay with the stock tire sizes IMO.

Well the wheels that came with the car r the chrome z06 wheels but not for sure what the stock size is I guess I just wanted to try to fill the wheel well better

For the fronts there's not much selection in 265's, I went with a 275/40/17, fits fine and way more selection. In the back you can easily run 305's if you want something bigger, some go with a 315 on the stock wheels but that may be a bit of a stretch.

If you'll be getting a street compound, your best bet with stock wheels is 265/ or 275/40-17 fronts and 295/35-18 rears. If you're shopping for R-comps, then there are tires available in 305 and 315 for the rear. For better or worse, the easiest way to fill the wheel wells is to just lower the car. Lowering on stock bolts makes a noticeable difference but won't affect ride quality/performance much.
