Has anyone used Royal Purple's MAX-CLEAN FUEL SYSTEM CLEANER & STABILIZER in their C5? Any comparisons to Techron?

Yes sir, used it in mine. I like it. The idle was noticeably smoother afterward. I noticed that in addition to cleaning, it also stabilized fuel. So I plan on using it again at the end of this season before I put my car away for the winter.

Awesome to hear, i used this in my 2002 Lexus ES300 also. I'll be using this in my 99 FRC C5 which will be delivered this week.

Does RP do anythign to help keep the fuel gauge contacts clean and working? I'm pretty much of a Techron guy for that reason alone.

Here is a video testing Royal Purple.


He does other test on the fuel additives. Seems he may like Sea Foam but has negatives on all the additives he tested..
