Default Anyone here........

Dropped the coin on a set of these?

http://www.lgmotorsports.com/product...oducts_id=1937

3 grand for an inch is a lot but I like the idea of full suspension travel with the lowered height.

Got the Vette on the lift right now, changing the oil, need to ranger the clutch fluid, then go for a short run.

Look real pretty. 3000 to lower a car that doesn't race?

I'm sure their worth it if your car regularly is battling chicanes and hairpins but,for a "lowered stance" there are far cheaper alternatives.

So what are the cheaper alternatives, that maintain full suspension travel and a stock ride feel?

Some people would surely think that paying 2k+ for some mandrel bent tubing is over the top but we do it all the time. 6-8K for a blower is deemed very worthwhile.

I would lower my car with bolts if I thought I wouldn't be trading looks for a sub-standard ride and drive.

Never have even thought about buying something like that. $3K is a lot of money but if that's what you want to do, LG makes some great products.

Everyone is concentrating on the cost and I am curious about the results. Maybe I should check with LG to see if they sold any. I won't be buying any soon, but with the cost of a set of quality coilovers being in the same ballpark I would consider these as another option.

I am just suggesting that for a "lowered stance only" 3K is a lot for only an 1". Lowering kits come in at a fraction of this price and the possibility of going more than an 1". If full suspension travel is your ultimate objective, then by all means 3K is probably worth the results coming from LG. Good luck to you,I hope that whatever choices you make result in the suspension geometry and handling your looking for.

Were I you, I'd check on that price. I believe I remember those parts advertised at $3k a pair, not all four. I had asked about them. And considering the work to make a set, that would sound about right to me.

The link says for all four. They look pretty sweet. Not sure I could spend that much though.

There is a short you tube video that explains the lower cost . Originally they were milled from solid blocks of billet aluminum. The current models are a forged aluminum product that greatly cuts down the time on the milling machine.

We've sold some to C6ers. We haven't seen much interest from C5ers.

No way could I knock LG, I've got quite a few mods from them, performance, and appearance, all with good results, and I do understand not compromising ride, but it would take me a while to decided on getting those, I'm also a firm believer, it's your ride, do what you want.

Post up some before/after shots of your lowered ride!!
