Just Purchased '00
My wife and I just purchased this c5. It is A4 with HUD, 65K. First Corvette ever owned. Learning alot from this forum and the itch to begin modding has started. Purchased a set of XS Power LT as well as Catted X Pipe. I'm also having fun learning what has already been changed and upgraded on the vette as we purchased it from dealership and don't have prior owners information.

I think the prior owner wished he owned a z06! The car also has red fuel rail covers off the z06. Unique thing about them is that there signed by workers from bowling green assembly plant.

No no supercharger yet! I owned two Lightnings and currently have a turbo installed on my Harley Davidson VRod. Probably wont be long!!!

The hood is an aftermarket hood. Any Supercharger under the hood?
Looks like someone went to a lot of trouble to try and make this Hatchback look like a Z06. Z06 badges, Z06 vent screens up front, and Z06 brake ducts. Why, I have no idea. It is not a Z06. All C5 Z06's are FRC (fixed roof coupes), not hatchbacks. They only come with a 6 speed manual transmission as well.
If you want to learn more about your Vette, get the VIN and do a Google search. That should give you more info, but probably will not give you the mods done.
Best wishes. C5 Vettes are great cars. If yours has been taken care of and modded correctly. You should get a lot of enjoyment out of your new ride.

Looks like you got a winner there!! Some already tasteful mods done to compliment that great color. 2000's are great,I'll vouch for that.

Still great looking Vette. I like the hood.. Really nice looker.
BTW: Don't feel alone about the Z06 look. I went to Kroger one night in my true Z06, and came out to the parking lot and saw a 02 Silver coupe with the Z06 dress ups like on yours. I had to look three times in the dark to see it was a C5 coupe. Started to think I was seeing things!
I waited for the owner to come out and we had a great conversation. Said he was going to complete the work on the brake ducts but at that time, they were there for looks. I told him jokingly he was just trying to confuse me!
I do miss my Targa top during the summer.

Thanks for all the compliments. It's a very clean garage kept car. I actually overstated the miles. 58k. I've already replaced one tpms and now one won't reprogram when I tried to relearn them all so looks like I need another one.
