Also if any of you fellas have experience with Matte colors should I get it painted or have it vinyl wrapped? Whatever I do it will also have L5 fenders installed at the time of paint/wrap. Thanks

But whatever your decision is, just remember to never cheap out on a paint job, you get what you pay for
I know paint is one thing not to cheap out on. I have seen this guys work and he does a very good job.

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
All dirt shows... a lot worse then shinny black.
It streaks terribly, you cannot wipe of one spot. You always have to clean the entire car.
You can not use a quick clean or glass cleaner on it, again must wash whole car.
You cannot wax out little scratches and the scratches appear white.
Paint car in one shot, if you paint in pieces there will be different levels of flat.
You cannot buff it.
I was told by several body shops that they do not wax well.
I am going to try on some sample parts after the paint is over 6 months old.
Anything will shine of you make it smooth. so i am sure it will shine it up some.
I would not paint a corvette or any high end car that color. Not after painting a truck.
It is just a pain in the a_s... and i like detailing and cleaning my cars but it is just to much work.

It looks rough and unfinished to me - - but, your car . . .your call.
EDIT:By the way- I'm well aware of current styles, but this guy's car just looked like crap.

Not something I think that I would do myself, but I didn't think it looked half bad.
