Default First Spring 'break out'

The temps are cool, but the sun is shining brightly; and I just couldn't take it any more.
After 3 days of rain, which seemed to have cleaned the roads of most of the salt, I decided to escape to the Interstate for a 88 mile round trip drive; for a diet cherry pepsi, in Peoria...

Then drove around town to the golf course, not open of course yet. But, had coffee with a couple of the guys I've not seen since last fall.

Finally, went though the car wash for a quick rinse, then back into the garage, until I just can't take it any more, again....

Felt great to drive my C5 again, on the road instead of just in my dreams.

Anyone else with pics to share, of a 'spring breakout' of sorts???

Don

Nice!! I will be doing the same in the near future! First I need to purchase a new starter to fix that pesky no start issue!

Thanks.
The wheels are the Ruff 954's 19" x 20". Tires are Toyo; 255/35R19 front, and 295/30R20 rears. First drive on them today. My first impression is very good. I like the look, a lot.

Nice ride. No pics since our break out won't be for a week or two. But you give us hope that spring will soon be here.

For some reason, the pics are not showing up - says they've been moved or deleted. Anyway, still have my car in hibernation - hope to get it out in 2-3 weeks.

I lost the photos in photobucket, when i tried to rename them. That's why the photos seem to have disappeared from post above. Reposted from original OP. Didn't know how that worked for sure.
Anyway, I love the new wheels and tires look and feel.
