Was stuck toward the rear of the pack. Nice cruise though!
Yellow car in front of me was on the brakes at every corner.....just wanted to let the z rip those curves. I told my wife this ride is a carving board and this is a very sharp knife! It became very dull braking every 1/16th mile.
Had a blast though overall!
I'm headed up to run the Dragon a few times in the morning if it doesn't rain.

I know what you mean. It's getting harder for younger folks to get into Corvette ownership. Hell, it took me 30 years from the time I fell in love with the car.
For all the kids out there: Stay in school. Get a higher form of education. Work for your goals/dreams.
My four year old son and I were toward the rear of the pack on the cruise and still had a blast. I was driving the car in my avatar. I'm 33 and have been fortunate enough to be able to own several different models of Corvettes through the years. I felt like we were in the "younger crowd" lol
I'm glad you guys (and gals) liked the cruise. I do the best I can, but I can't fix st*pid. There's always someone that wants to lollygag thru the turns. Maybe I should say in the drivers meeting that if you intend to drive like my grandma (she's long gone) go to the back of the pack. I had several folks say they appreciated the fact that we actually did a bit of Corvette friendly driving on this one.
My wife and I are 45....are you guys younger than that?
I'm 36 and she's 30...
Most of the crowd I saw there looked much older than 45 though....
It doesn't bother me, it's just an observation. And I was on the show car scene from my late teens, through my late 20's or more. I was on the import scene, so a totally different crowd.
I look forward to meeting many more Corvette owners, with hopes that the crowd livens up!

Were you in a silver C6?
(Can't see your avatar, as I'm logged in on my iPhone)

We'd love to have you visit us in April at our all Corvette show. Its going to be awesome!
Yeah, you pulled up next to me Friday evening and revved it up. I distinctly remember, because I could tell you were our age and the boy in the passenger seat.
I have a 3 yr old son, a 6 yr ol daughter and a 9 yr old daughter.
Matchstick, I remember seeing your car as well. Saw your son when you spun around in parking lot when we were lining up. Guess it wasn't as bad further back but I was 5 cars behind a truck full of baked beans! Next time lets not go past Bushes!

Yeah, bush's does have a foul smell. However there are only so many locales that we can use.
Friday I'll be working at the large red trailer (inside) selling (mostly) C-5 parts and then I'll be leading the cruise Friday evening. Saturday I'll be working the auction. If you need anything while you're there just holler, It sounds like your ride will be tied up for awhile.
The weather is warming up, I hope it doesn't rain.
Couldnt make the show, what is the next event you will have your trailer at??
