Default Blackwing broke/missing part...help

Hi all. I purchased a used Blackwing for my '04 base coupe from a fellow forum member. It unfortunately got damaged during shipping, despite amazing padding and box material.

One of the circle eyelets at the bottom of the filter where the grommets go had broken off causing it to break the circle open. Do I need to be concerned about this, or will the rest of the mounting points keep it secure? Can anyone recommend a good epoxy that I can use to repair it and make it last? I have the parts that broke off.

Second issue...I failed to ask and confirm with the seller whether or not this came with the MAF adapter coupling before purchasing (completely my fault; impulse purchase). So when it arrived yesterday, I realized this was just a filter and nothing else. Everywhere I researched to buy this filter new, I see it is pictured with a small hose coupling for the MAF. From what I understand the '01-'04 MY needed a 4" adapter to connect the filter to the MAF. Is this correct, and any suggestions on where to purchase at an inexpensive price? What size do I need 4" diameter by 'x' inch long? I'm using the factory airbridge and stock bellows still.

BTW: I by no means intend for this post to be against the seller. Quite the contrary, he answered my questions and provided pictures. The shipping was not his fault and I take blame for not thinking about the coupling earlier.

Default Bellow kit

I recently purchased a Blackwing from CF member also. I didn't have the coupler you describe. You will need the "Bellow Kit" for a 01-04 car.

I think you shoud try and fix the insert ring. Do you have all the pieces that broke out? If yes the I would use JB weld and be generous, then after it cures (24 hrs) clean it up with a dremel so the bushing fits again.

This may help for you to decide which diameter coupling you need.

If you know the width, which I'm sure someone here could measure for you on their car to verify and you can determine whether you need the 3.5" or 4", which it appears for your year you need the 4" you can order that from anywhere just about.

Also, I believe that the company's name is Donaldson. Maybe you could contact them directly for the clamp.

Good luck.

Thanks everyone. The seller contacted me as well and he may have the coupler to send yet. If not, I'll source a new one based on the susggestions here.

I'm heading out to Autozone tomorrow for some parts for my '03 Envoy, so I can pick some JB weld up while I'm here.
