I actually like the looks of the BSMs, but even without them the car looks great. Love that TS rear bumper and the CCW wheels.

I'm indifferent to the BSM. So I'd say your car looked great before, and equally as great after.

I like the BSMs and cars look good without them too. About the only thing I can go either way with on a Vette!

Your car looks good either way, I prefer them removed though.

ok, I swore I wasn't going to get sucked into yet another "I hate BSMs" vs "I like BSMs" thread.... but I just have no more willpower left I guess after quitting both smoking and drinking.... I mean, I only have so much ;-)

I like 'em. I just wish we could have a sticky poll that would maybe stop the every other day thread about 'em.

No offense to the OP but man, it get's old...

Stripes are awesome! They look great with the hood. Well done!

BTW, removal of my BSM's is on my "when-the-weather-gets-warmer" list. Chicago, you know.

Its a passionate subject Calvin.. I understand how many people feel and let me tell you as a new Torch Red Convertible Vet owner for only 3 weeks. I'm torn between having them or taking them off too.

When I look at that first photo. It's phenominal, I don't have one critique on that look, its an awesome Sportcoupe Meflyfrc not much to add to that. Many posts prior have stated looks great with/without. The color, the wheels are fantastic, they really make the car jump out at you more so then any other feature on the race car. Congrats beautiful sports car.

PeterB.

PS. Meflyfcr can you please PM me on the make and approx price of those wheels, where did you purchase'm and also is that a special spoiler on the top of the trunk?, what make and where did you purchase that. Also may I ask what year is your vehicle, mines an 01 and has the dual exhaust or is that a mod you also made. Its greatly appreciated. Thank you

Jack I have to admit its taking some getting use too. But I like the smoother look.

Hey man! I never thought I would remove mine until I saw the flared fender thread and about a month ago while coming home from work a torch red FRC like mine roll out of an exit onto 95, crossed over in front of me, and then exited 95 to the left. It didn't have the BSMs. I guess the sun was hitting it just right, the car was shined up and all I could think was d@mn that's sexy. And then my no-bsm journey began, almost a spiritual moment. Kinda like the difference between a 21 year old honey with nice smooth skin and a 40 yo with cellulite.

Peter thanks for the compliment. My car is a 99 fixed roof coupe. I purchased the wheels; CCW 505a's, used from a forum member. I paid $2200 shipped. They are 18x10 frt and 19x13 rear. You can purchase new at www.ccwheel.com or keep an eye out in the for sale forum. The rear is one piece Tiger Shark fascia. Currently it is no longer in production. Check with JWMotoring, a vendor here on the forum, as there is a possibility production may start on them again. The exhaust; B&B Bullet twin tip. I modified the exhaust.
