Has anyone had parts dipped by a Hydrographics company and if so could you post some pics of it? I have a friend that does it and says he can put a pattern on anything even valve covers and stuff like that and says it looks good. Im thinking of having some of the stuff under the hood done in flames or carbon fiber pattern. Thanks

There have been quite a few owners here that have went the hydrographic route for making a change in their car's appearance. As a recommendation, check with Pat at American Hydrocarbon - he puts out some excellent looking products.
One of the C5 guys I think it's Mike who shows up at the Galloping Hill Cruise nite in Kenilworth, NJ has real carbon and hydrographics. Hard to tell the 2 apart.
Well, I got the quote back from the guy i know that does the Hydrodipping and he told me to have the Fuel rail covers,Washer Tank lid,Radiator cover,Plenum, and radiator overflow tank done in Carbon fiber print it would be between $500 and $650. Does that sound too high?
