I have a bumper cover which was seriously damaged and the jerk who tried to fix it used aluminum which he pop riveted in place and filled the good side with fiberglass resin from Home Depot. It may be fixable, but not sure it is worth the effort, and I know how to fix it properly!
I have looked at factory replacements from an online dealer and one which will be shipped primed and painted to match from Parts Geek which is made by Action Crash automotive parts. The after market one from Parts Geek will arrive with shipping and paint for a bit less than the one from the online dealer in raw form plus shipping. Does anyone have any experience? Cost matters, but fit and looks is the most important issue.
This is the only parts I have left to purchase my restoration of my 04 C5 vert.
Thanks for all the previous help I have received from this site!!
At $569.00 do they supply that painted, I can drive to my local GM dealer and buy one for $5.00 less and I won't pay any shipping to the dealer, but will still have to paint it? They do not list painting as an option. Is it a GM part or aftermarket as they do not say on their website.
Parts Taxi is $426.00 for same item plus shipping and paint.
